To manage your own Active Listings (without syncing from eBay), you have to upload the list of items you want managed. The easiest way to get this list is from eBay's File Exchange.
To be able to download from File Exchange, you must have qualified and signed up for it.

File Exchange download
Click on the Download Files
When the download has completed, you will be notified by email. You can also get the download file from the Completed Downloads link on the left menu.
For Choose Your Own
- Open this download file
- Add a column called ChooseYourOwn
- Set 1 for Active and 0 for Inactive in that column
- Upload the file to us in Settings > Stores and Listings
