The update method refers to the way StreetPricer sends or updates the reprices after it has applied your rules.
You access the configuration page at Settings > AutoPrice
If you have more than one store, each store can have its own update method.
The default is blank, click Edit to configure for the first time.
There are 4 main update methods StreetPricer uses:
- Marketplace - eBay (via API)
This updates your eBay store directly with the price changes via API
- eCommerce Platform (via API)
This updates your eCommerce platform's eBay price field directly via API. We currently handle BigCommerce, Magento, Neto and Shopify
- File Exchange (with CSV)
This sends you a CSV with the new prices via FTP or attached to an email
- Email (text)
This is sent via a text email. Note that for email, no prices are actually changed or updated.
eBay (via API)
Simply check the box and you're good to go. No other configuration is needed. StreetPricer updates the prices via API as long as your eBay token provided is still valid.

All fields may be renamed to match what your application will use.
CSVs can be sent via FTP or email attached.
